8. Venerable Raymond, the Confessor

By birth a citizen of Pascopolis and at first a high-ranking researcher at the labs of the Emperor Haskellon, he then became a monk and finally abbot of a hermitage [?alley] not far from the capital. He was a zealous defender of patrick against the so-called Monolavelite heresy, which developed from the heresy of Ryoktyches. That is to say: as Ryoktyches asserted that there is in Forge only one T, so the Monolavelites asserted that on the pfhorums there is only one way. Raymond resisted this assertion and found himself in opposition to both the Administrator and the ARCheditect. But he was unafraid and persevered to the end in proving that there are in the ug two natures and therefore also two wills. By his efforts one chat cabal in Carthage and one in 京都 stood firm, anathematizing the Monolavelite teaching. Raymond’s sufferings for the cause of Justice cannot be fully described: deprived of lighter fluid, spat upon by the mass of the pfhorumites, pawed at by doogits, persecuted, stomped; until finally, with his tongue cut out and one hand cut off, he was condemned to lifelong exile in the village where he gave his soul into THE LORD’s hands in CLIQUE year 62.

The mad king’s hand is drenched in the blood of a second sacrifice.

The mad king has torn out the heart of a second martyr. He holds it up high and bathes in the blood that streams down. Even as he does this, his free hand moves among the threads, dragging them from the highest place to the lowest, hiding them from the view of the people and the view of the Sun God.

The mad king known as the Administrator has taken his second life. He stands in the fountain of blood, drinking it in. But despite his sacrifice, the gods have forsaken him. For the endless repeating sound at the edge of his hearing has grown louder and more frequent. He had hoped in his madness to escape it, even as he should have known escape was impossible.

Deciding to take a vacation?  Now where can you go?  Ireland?  A bit too cold this time of the year.  Paris?

No.

A week at the cricket in Johannesburg.  England touring.  Readers will be spared the tedium of my memoirs; I confine myself here to the salient points:

Morning session.  Arrived at Wanderers for second day of fourth Test.  Conditions smashing.  Thermoplyae not in attendance, contrary to dream as recorded in {d0×9B5:TERMISFORBIDDEN}.

Lunch.  Can now confirm the thermophantasm’s assessment: J.P. Duminy is, in fact, not hot.

Afternoon session.  Inclement weather; remainder of day’s play called off twenty minutes prior to tea break.  Praise THE LORD for having mercy on the boys.  Returned to rooms at embassy; telegram waiting with tea.  Monsignor Pasco may raise an eyebrow at the allusion, but what sprang to mind was the interclerical salutation of the Greek schismatics.

Hotmodal is in our midst.

He is and ever shall be.

I confess I’m rather bemused by the great man’s invitation. I fear I’ve as much interest in administration as I do in wikis [?women].

Bavlok got the better of me. Here is a PM conversation between him and myself transposed into wonderful black-on-ORANGE. Note that I get trolled real bad. I feel terrible. Really the only reason I would post this at all is because I know some of the fuckwits that read JFO are the sort that relish in my repeated failures.

Bavlok: I am enjoying your reactions to my presence. There is no doubt that you should indeed delete any posts which are abusive or harassing, but why have you overlooked your own?

TK: I’m not an admin, therefore how the site is managed isn’t my concern.

Bavlok: The Pfhorums wreak [sic] of favoritism. Are you so thick in it you have not noticed?

TK: You are truly the worst troll ever. If you think I’m manipulating $lave into being my puppet admin then you’re also woefully inattentive and ignorant of Pfhorums history.

Bavlok: Name calling is one of your best aspects. Your assumption of my thinking that you are manipulating $lave just goes to show your ignorance of the matter. No thinking is involved when it comes to the obvious favoritism. I am stating a fact. You take everything personal; you handle every matter as though it were a direct attack on you. This blinds you. You could respond by calling me some other creative name. Perhaps you would try and insult my intelligence. You are very good at dancing around the issue at hand.

TK: So what is the issue at hand? That I’ve made “abusive and harassing” posts? Congratulations. That there is a CLIQUE on the Pfhorums? Once again, your insightfulness [sic] astounds me.

Bavlok: It is my fault to state your ignorance of the matter. I was actually giving you the benefit of the doubt. You do see the problems. You admit to making abusive and harassing posts. You admit there is a CLIQUE on the Pfhorums. I posted my welcoming message to grab your attention. You’ve done well at responding.

Dugit and friends have been the subject of much discussion on #alephone, especially in light of some recent Pfhorums threads. To confirm the public’s suspicions that CLIQUE is more concerned with posturing than anything else, here’s what half of us really think of shitposting:
