Sure, the CLIQUE likes to ruin Mararthon, but have any of us managed to do this?
Stats collected so far this month:
$ grep -i survival misc.log | wc
229 4496 25219
$ grep -i emfh misc.log | wc
228 4198 21697
I know we have an OSH award for maps, but to me, this seems like an even greater accomplishment. Congratulations to Megabyte for ruining the metaserver!
Now that MARARTHON has officially taken its own life, there are a few things I’d like to get off my chest. I mean, they’ve bothered me for something like a year. That’s a long time if you think about it. (Also, I have the gift of Bourbon, so truth is coming more naturally to me at the moment.)
(Try to read between the lines a little bit more)
Boretower2’s monthly updates are now completely automated. As always, you can get the log files or just check out the summary.
Thanks to Irons, we now have hosting statistics available for each individual host. You can take a look here.
I’ve patched together a combination of Perl (to process the -misc.txt files from the collected Mariusnet data) and XSLT (to format the resulting XML into HTML) that gives a list of all hosts since February 2008, sorted by the total number of games they’ve hosted. Each host then has a table containing each map he’s used and the number of times he’s used it. This table is sorted by the latter number. The data ends on the last month published (for example, as of today, the data goes all the way through July but lacks anything from August). This is not an automated process (yet). Assume it will be updated within 24 hours of each monthly Mnet Stats release.
I hope this information comes in handy to those who don’t know anything about a given host; the goal here is to find good hosts who use maps you like. The XSLT page is here for users of most modern browsers, while a slightly-more-static index exists if your browser does not support XSLT natively.
As always, the summary and log files are available.
June’s Mariusnet stats have been posted. You won’t believe which map won this month.
As usual, the log files and summary are available.
May’s Mariusnet stats have been added to the usual place.
The log files are available as well as the summary.
