I think we were both successful in that respect. Or, I should say, I only truly understood the message after I had forced myself to think about it while drawing.

If I ever finish the original SOTA, maybe we can explore and expanded universe…

It’s really just a case of being half-written. I can think of ways to better integrate ‘अ’, perhaps a silent confrontation with an idol/icon (or an unexpected word of absolution in the confessional), it needed more attention than I gave it.

The basic idea IN MY MIND at the time was a secure but not particularly happy life winding down.

I was clearly too lazy to look up “vespers” on even the most wiki of pedias. Instead, I drew what I knew. This ritual surrounds the Lutheran communions I grew up with. Oops…

The hair turned out far better than I thought it would. It also hides parts of faces, which is useful for a great artist like me. I think I drew the tie to add a traditional gender marker, in case people thought the longhair was female.

Finally, “अ.” I actually debated with myself for a while, most of the time I was drawing the images, whether or not I should add a period. I didn’t want to go against your original text (except I already did as noted above), and I too thought that nothing should come after the NO. However, for the sake of the uneducated who might view this page, I thought I would add a period to help indicated that अ was a response to the question, by my interpretation.

I wonder if perhaps अ is the sort of thing one does not follow with a period. Perhaps it is merely a circle encompassing a void (the only void)-I suppose Nagarjuna would be okay/into that.
